Shot on FUJIFILM X-T2
35mm f/1.4 1/60s ISO250
I was at a friend’s graduation ceremony. I felt so good walking around in the university (looking for the bathroom).
I realized two things. The first is that when I get into the “photographer that needs to deliver” mode, I suck. That’s probably because I don’t have that kind of experience. The second is that I take more creative shots as soon as I switch to black and white.
I took some shots during the graduation without any Film Simulations. I wanted to send over the jpegs quickly so they could be shared on social media.
Once I was done with the graduation stuff, I switched to black and white and immediately captured some photos that I really liked.
When I came back home, I realized I could have switched to black and white, taken those “artistic” shots, and just included my friend in them. I totally missed out on that opportunity.
