About V

I go by the name of "Vato" Yiğit. You can call me V for short. And \ for shorter.

I'm a WordPress developer ('13), photographer ('20), hip-hop head ('99), bass player ('14), and blogger ('25). I occasionally rap ('05) too.

The site

On January 1st, 2025, I decided to start a daily photography challenge and built this website. That was the start.

I was going to take "intentional photos" instead of random snaps, and write daily to improve that too. That was the goal. 

In the summer, I realized there was a good chance I wouldn't finish it, but I told myself I’d “upload in batches whenever I had time.” That was denial.

By December, I knew. That was acceptance.

I still upload photos tho, so the site is active. That's the truth.

Whatelse

I keep stats and sell prints.

Speaking of prints, you know it’s a shame when the walls in your home are empty. You can fix that by getting a few prints. You could get one of my weird self-portraits and hang it up in your entryway. That'd be a good conversation-starter. You could fill your house with them, I wouldn't judge. You wanna make a wallpaper? Closing remarks

This is my playground. I write most of the stuff when I should be sleeping. 

I'll write more, but now I should be sleeping.
