Dear diary,

I think I’ve become a çaykolik. Ever since my mother brought me a teapot, the first thing I do in the morning is brew tea.

Yesterday, I made the mistake of brewing late in the evening and ruined my sleep. I knew that could’ve happened, but I did it anyway. I knew I had a fairly busy day today, but I did it anyway. Then, ended the evening by cooking a mean homemade Beyti, so it was a good day, I’m not gonna lie.

Whatever I wrote above has nothing to do with the red umbrella because I’m a çaykolik. If I’m not drinking it, I’m thinking about it.

Anyway, the rain and wind are back in the city, so I take my most reliable umbrella, the red umbrella. I’m a simple, well-prepared kind of man.
